The first event of the night will be a mixer with Farrar from 5:30 to 7 pm at Cycle University in West Seattle. Then at 8 pm, Farrar will be doing a presentation benefitting the Major Taylor project and Cascade Education Foundation. Directions to Cycle U can be found at www.cycleu.com. 2009 has been a breakout year for the 25 year-old Washingtonian. He rode in all three grand tours and broke the seal with stage victory in the Tour of Spain. He blew the cycling world away earlier in the year beating Mark Cavendish and Tom Boonen in a stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. He is the owner of multiple national titles on the road and the track and has made a handful of World Championship teams. This will not be an event you want to miss.
